THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the roles and responsibilities cover the following:
- Perform accounts payable, fixed assets and general ledger postings
- Assist to ensure proper month-end and year-end closing of the Bank’s books and records
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc management reports for management information and decision
- Assist in budget and forecasts preparation
- Prepare Head Office reports for Head Office consolidation
- Assist in preparing interim and annual financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory disclosure requirements
- Prepare schedules for audits
- Prepare tax schedules for submission to the Inland Revenue Department
- Assist in administrative work for Finance team
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting
- At least 2 years of accounting experience in banking or audit field
- Excellent skills in Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Self-starter, diligent, independent and strong sense of ownership
- A good team-player
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage
