Finance & Operation Manager
A Global hedge Fund, an AUM of USD15Bn, with an established and growing presence in Asia has a new opening for Finance and Operations role. This is a role to support the Director of Finance Operations.
The role will include but definitely not limited to:
- Responsible for daily trade processing and settlements
- corporate actions, collateral management and cash movements
- Ensure daily trades allocation
- Perform daily PL attribution reports and end of day reports (estimated NAVs)
- Liaise with fund administrators, prime brokers, fund managers, custodians for fund transaction, monthly yearly account statements, valuation report, expenses such as administration and brokerage fee, performance fee, redemption, director's fee, management fee, year-end audit, etc
- Oversee risk management function and legal activities. e.g client contracts, partnership agreements, leases and other legal documents
- Liaise with MAS officers to have updated financial regulation and to operate its business based on regulation
- Support the process of financial reports, tax assessment, due diligence, etc and review after it's done
- Report to the Director of Finance and provide strong support to operation of the fund.
This role requires a bachelor degree or post graduate qualification and a good knowledge of Hedge Fund Operation. An individual with Accountancy Degree or CPA holder would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will come from a hedge fund or from a trade support experience in an Investment bank with a strong knowledge in Equities and Fixed Income.
