Finance / Operations Analyst
Job Description:
Assist in providing finance, operational, risk management and client service support to the Firm and our clients.
Reporting Line:
Report to the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities:
The role will initially focus on the corporate side of the businesses, which will include:
• Posting entries into the company’s ledger system
• Processing and paying accounts payable invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Monthly management accounts
• Regulatory returns
The role will grow to include involvement in the funds that the company manages, as well as the managed accounts that the firm manages on behalf of private clients:
• Dealings with the fund administrator as appropriate
• Monthly pricing of the funds
• Fund performance estimates
• Reporting to investors
• Fund liquidity model maintenance
• Adhoc reviews and analysis as appropriate
• Risk Management
• Operational involvement and trade reconciliation
Requirements:
Would suit a highly determined individual at entry level / limited experience in the industry;
• Good working knowledge of Sage Line 50
• Good knowledge of Microsoft software suite, in particular Excel
• Exceptionally high attention to detail • Numerate and proactive individual
• Excellent interpersonal and general communication skills
