Finance Operations Program Manager-Continuous Inspection
Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to join the Finance Operational Excellence team. The primary mission of Finance Operational Excellence is to drive operational excellence through a culture of continuous improvement in our processes and key business inputs. The top priority of the team and this role is controllership. This person will focus on raising the bar on our tools and processes by continuously inspecting and improving them. We critically assess data quality and identify reliable sources to rapidly produce accurate reports, metrics and tools that enhance management insight into operational and financial data. As a Manager in Finance Operational Excellence you will be responsible for all aspects of business process reviews. You will conduct process assessment interviews with most levels of the organization and build process documents and audit plans to address the most important opportunities for our business. You will also partner with emerging business groups to drive best practices within Finance. You will be responsible for communication and escalation of areas requiring improvement with the relevant Finance and Business leaders. Key tasks include: Partner with business owners to identify or develop key control(s) for continuous review. Ensure periodic self-audits are completed, findings documented and improvements launched to ensure our processes are functioning as expected. Leverage internal tools and processes to track and report status to Sr. Business Partners Identify and drive opportunities to automate processes to increase their reliability and controls. Partner with new businesses to help them launch their processes with the highest levels of controllership. Ensure existing businesses are leveraging finance best practices in their processes.
