Finance Project Analyst
An opportunity to work on a fast paced Finance Change project. The candidate must have experience of working in Finance Change related projects within the Banking Sector and previously conducted cost analysis, forecasting and managed budgets within a project environment.
The role purpose and responsibilities include:
Support on the project lifecycle phases to define and improve the current accounting reporting system.
Document associated business processes controls that will require change as a result of changing the process. This requires excellent attention to detail with lots of hands on analysis work.
Support End to end sub projects execution and input to design. This requires excellent communication with many areas of the bank including Operations, IT, Organisation and Project Management
Assist with processes documentation requiring change as a result of the proposed Model Implementation
Experience required:
• Experience supporting systems implementation, change transformation projects
• Banking Operations processes and controls and specific experience of Lending or Mortgage products.
• Accounting and reconciliation within banking environment.
• Ability to analyse, comprehend and articulate complex models.
• A good communicator escalating issues to manager.
• Flexibility to work additional hours and travel as required
• Motivated team worker, practical, proactive, and a self-starter as well as
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Data Bases
• Good cross business area communication skills to ensure accurate capture of process flows.
• Communicate issues and progress to project manager and rest of the team
