Finance Project Manager (CPA)- Capital Markets – VP recruitment
Our client is a leading global financial institution. This role is situated in the back office Accounting area which is responsible for all of the accounting functions across all of the Financial products such as FX, Fixed Income and Equities
Responsibilities of the role:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Project Management and end-to end delivery of accounting projects
- Improving existing Accounting processes within the bank
- Being 2nd in charge of AsiaPac Finance
- Management of the local Finance Change Management staff
- Prepare business case for Finance related projects and contribute to cross functional business case preparation
Requirements of the role:
- Must be CA or CPA
- Comfortable dealing with Senior Management and key personnel
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet assigned deadlines
- Organised and detail oriented
- Understanding of Finance processes and the infrastructure that supports them: ledger/Sub ledger, account postings, reconciliation, reserves/pricing adjustments and reporting
- Understanding data/system flows from Front Office to Back Office systems
- Exposure and understanding of Regulatory Requirements across Asia Pacific
