Finance Project Manager – Management Information (London) recruitment
Roles/Responsibilities
- Data sourcing from a number of revenue, balance sheet and risk management systems.
- Linking the various sources of data, and implementing common data structures to allow analysis across various datasets.
- Systems implementation to store and report such data.
- Implement business processes for sign-off, monitoring and control.
- Developing a sound knowledge of the current state process and technology landscape.
- Liaising with Finance and Business teams to understand and define the business requirements across affected business areas.
- Supporting the business on strategic design decisions relating to process and systems.
- Supporting the definition of end user test cases and success criteria.
- Chair project meetings and stakeholder government forums.
Skills/Experience
Essential
- Strong finance knowledge.
- Experience working in a Project Management role liaising between end users and technology teams.
- Knowledge of system architectures and related MIS technologies.
- Knowledge of the Investment Banking industry and products.
- Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges within a complex organisation.
- Build, develop and enhance working relationships vital to the success of the project.
Preferable
- Revenue and cost reporting.
- Balance sheet reporting.
- Liquidity and funding
- Business intelligence platforms (Cognos, Hyperion Essbase, Qlikview).
