Position Description:
The Project Manager position is within the Valuation Review Group (VRG) team which is part of the Financial Control Group (FCG). VRG operates as a service provider of high quality independent valuation controls and valuation advisory services to various constituents across Institutional Securities, with the global product controllers, and Senior Financial Management as the main clients.
This role is within VRG's global project management leadership team that focuses on global standard setting and quality control. This team acts in a complementary capacity to the business line leadership team.
The candidate will report to VRG's Chief Operating Officer, who also serves as the global project management functional lead, and will be specifically responsible for the following:
• End-to-end coordination/management of large-scale strategic projects including developing charters, creating project plans, and monitor progress to ensure successful completion
• Centrally coordinate communication amongst project leads, stakeholders, and clients
• Prepare portfolio-level status reports on a regular basis
• Identify/escalate issues as appropriate to senior management and track remediation progress
• Facilitate the team's compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements

• Demonstrated project management skills with experience on large, global, or multi-divisional projects including the use of project management tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of the financial services industry/product-types
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
Skills Desired:
• Experience with Microsoft Project and SharePoint
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar PMI credentials
• Exposure to conducting business analysis and requirements gathering
