FINANCE PROJECT MANAGER recruitment
The vacancy is for a Finance Project Manager and exists to provide a project support service to the Finance Department and act as a general support to the Finance Management Team.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage and/or co-ordinate Finance Department projects.
- Co-ordinate Finance Monitoring Groups, including the creation and issue of agendas and minutes, and monitor action plans as required.
- Undertake ad hoc process or systems analysis and produce recommendations for change in teams as required across the Department; assist in implementing resulting short and medium term changes and contribute to inter-team process reviews.
- Provide cover and/or additional support to members of the department in any of the finance function areas as required.
- Oversee/co-ordinate production of ad hoc management information requests.
Core Skills:
- The ability to manage and maintain progress on multiple projects, with strong analytical and problem solving skills is also essential.
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation and accuracy/attention to detail are also essential attributes.
- Discretion and reliability are vital.
- Candidates should also have strong communication skills (written and verbal) and be able to relate to people at all levels across the business with a flexible and pragmatic approach.
Core Requirements:
- Applicants must have business project management experience.
- Previous experience of working within a Finance Department, with particular experience of process and controls development/monitoring is essential.
- Experience of developing and delivering end user training would be beneficial.
- Candidates will be a competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Project, and any additional systems skills and experience will be an advantage.
