Finance Regulatory & Reporting Specialist recruitment

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the co-ordination and review of the quarterly regulated returns produced in the UK including the consolidated supervision returns.
- Responsible for the co-ordination and production of the Individual Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Reverse Stress testing, Pillar 3 and Liquidity Reporting Requirement process for the UK, and responsible for all financial modelling required to support these.
- Developing reports to support data analysis of UK Consolidated reports.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of the ICAAP and other equivalent reports for Continental Europe companies.
- Responsible for producing/review of all reporting of Financial Information to the IUK Board, EMEA Exec Management Committee and European Boards.
- Responsible for providing a secondary review / oversight role for month end reporting in the UK including review of Blackline account reconciliations.
- Assisting with the implementation of Solvency II and the Individual Capital Assessment (ICA) for the Life company.
- Responsible for keeping senior Finance management up to date on new regulatory announcements and assessing the impact of new rules and requirements on the business.
- Assisting with Finance projects and Group priorities.
- Assisting other members of the Finance team and completing ad-hoc tasks as requested
Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven accounting and regulatory experience in a similar organisation in the Asset Management field.
- Prior experience of preparation of FSA returns under BIPRU
- Prior experience of financial modelling
- Experience of Clarity and Oracle advantageous
- Good working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel – macros, pivot tables), and MS Word
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong understanding of the risk environment within Financial Services
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
- Confident, professional and friendly in manner, with ability to be self motivated, organised and flexible.
- Ability to work under pressure but to high levels of numeracy and accuracy.
