This intensive two-year program consists of four, six-month rotational assignments through the DIRECTV U.S. and Latin America businesses. The platforms are designed to enhance the participants knowledge of DIRECTV and the Pay TV industry, as well as their analytical, technical and business skills through comprehensive on the job training and project based assignments. More information about our Finance Rotation Program includes: Our Objective To attract, develop and retain high-potential talent on finance and business operations in both the DIRECTV U.S. and DIRECTV Latin America businesses, with the purpose of creating a pipeline for Finance leadership roles across the organization. The Finance Rotation Program (FRP) will provide the opportunity for the best and brightest talent in the industry to collaborate with the top Finance executives at DIRECTV and offer intensive on the job training and broad based exposure to all aspects of Company operations. The participants in the FRP will receive accelerated professional development, world class mentors and unique networking opportunity across the organization. This transformative learning experience will enable our Finance employees to explore alternative career paths while promoting cross-functional experiences, which will ultimately increase productivity and career growth opportunities in the future. Upon completion of the program, FRP graduates will be qualified for leadership roles within the Company. To fully understand the scope of DIRECTV's business, you will rotate through four, sixth month assignments in the each of the following locations. Competitive compensation and relocation will be provided to the participants. Corporate Financial Planning - El Segundo, CA This platform will provide an opportunity for the participant to learn the key financial and operating metrics for DIRECTV and the Pay TV Industry. During this period, the individual will develop knowledge of financial statements and enhance their modeling/scenario analysis skills. They will be involved in the budget, three year outlook, as well as the GA and CapEx planning process. The participant will also have exposure to the Investor Relations team and will help with special projects assigned to the Corporate Finance team. DIRECTV U.S. Business Operations - El Segundo, CA This platform will develop the participant's knowledge of the key items driving revenues, earnings and cash flow for DIRECTV U.S. For example, individuals will be exposed to the key drivers of DIRECTV's top-line growth including programming package revenue, DIRECTV Cinema and advertising. In addition, participants will gain exposure to our key cost areas such as programming expense, general and administrative expenses and the cost considerations involved in acquiring and retaining customers. DIRECTV U.S. Service Operations - Denver, CO This platform will introduce the participant to the core of DIRECTV's service operations and quality standards. Here they will develop a working knowledge of our customer call centers, installation network, supply chain and inventory management. DIRECTV Latin America - New York, NY This platform will provide the opportunity for participant to learn the key financial and operating metrics for the Latin American operations. This area will offer an international experience, as the participant learns the major distinctions and synergies between the U.S. and Latin America operations, as well as gaining an understanding of FX trends and macro-economic factors that influence business decisions in Latin America. Qualified candidates will have an MBA and a minimum of (2) years of finance or business operations experience. Additional Information: Travel Percentage: 50%
