Finance – Shared Services and Business Process Outsourcing Advisor – Manager recruitment

Our Shared Services and Business Process Outsourcing Advisory practice provides strong BPO and Shared Services support across a broad range of industries to clients within Finance as well as IT, HR and Procurement functions. Deloitte is uniquely positioned to work with clients through the full life cycle of a Shared Services project, from feasibility through to design, build, implementation and optimisation. Within the BPO market, our independence combined with deep expertise enables us to support clients through the feasibility study, vendor selection, contracting, and implementation phases.
The Finance Shared Services and BPO Advisory team within Deloitte has great breadth and depth of the entire Shared Services or BPO lifecycle, which means that team members have the opportunity to develop skills and experience from conception to completion.

The vast learning and development opportunities that are available means you'll be able to play a key point in influencing account development and supporting sales activities in our target accounts. As a Manager in the team, you'll develop leadership capabilities by effectively managing multiple work streams on behalf of high profile clients, developing key deliverables, and providing advice and direction to junior members of the team.
All Managers will also have the opportunity to get involved in activities to help grow our market, such as thought leadership, marketing and business development.
A typical client engagement could involve:
- Identifying client business drivers and developing solutions to support the transformation of support services including Finance and Accounting, Procurement and Human Resources
- Leading the analysis of Shared Services or BPO options, including the development of a detailed business case to support client decision making
- Taking responsibility for target operating model design including design of processes, organisation, systems, performance management tools and technology
- Running the vendor selection process, from due diligence, through to contract negotiations and contract initiation
- Defining the transition roadmap
- Planning and managing projects to time and to budget
- Delivering complex financial analysis to support business case development and benefits realisation.
- Managing and developing Deloitte and client staff on projects
- Managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders
- Cultivating and closing follow-on opportunities at existing client through the development of proposals which exceed expectations
To qualify, you'll have:
- Minimum 2nd class degree or equivalent
- Significant experience of relevant Finance SSC or BPO Advisory projects
- Ability to lead workstreams on an SSC or BPO Advisory project
- Ability to lead small teams of Deloitte, client and vendor resources
- Good communication, influencing, problem solving and project management skills
- Full Travel Mobility
- Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA an advantage
