The Finance Strategy and Transformation Managing Consultant (MC) will provide Finance and Accounting strategy, process and information content consulting services to Industrial clients, including companies in the Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, Electronics, and Chemical and Petroleum industries. In addition they will focus on Finance processes including management reporting and analytics, planning and forecasting, procure to pay, order to cash, general and project accounting. A managing consultant also works with clients to improve their business in the following areas: Improving financial areas along key transactional Finance processes (e.g. management reporting and analytics, planning and forecasting, procure to pay, order to cash, general and project accounting).

Typical activities include:
- Developing Finance Transformation strategies and implementation plans, including organization, process, systems and tools
- Benchmarking Finance processes and identifying improvements and related benefits (i.e. business case).
- Developing comparative analyses of current, as-is" practices versus leading practices"
- Improving accounting close and consolidation processes including options for process acceleration
- Transforming financial reporting processes including the identification of key information requirements and the associated reporting and analytics models
- Optimizing Planning and Forecasting processes leveraging leading practice techniques.
