SHIP REPAIR PIPEFITTERS PIPEWELDERS PIPE FOREMAN STRUCTURAL WELDERS PIPE QCI or STRUCTURAL QCI (2 separate positions) Must have 3 yrs recent exp as a quality control inspector or in the specific trade. Must possess the ability to become level 2 NDT inspector, familiar with waf's, wic's, Idr's/cfr's and have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of MSWord and IMS is a plus. QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR Req 4 yrs exp in QA, QC, Document Control or Quality system auditing. NDT Level III and NAVSEA exp preferred. Exp with ISO 9001, NAVSEA Technical Publications training and procedure writing. Must possess good communication skills, be proficient with MS Office. Exp with NDT and Weld Qualifications, NAVSEA Standards, Process Control Procedures (PCP), MS Access, Visio, PowerPoint a plus. FINANCE SUPERVISOR Seeking an exp accounting supervisor (heavy indirect cost and rates) with government audit exp (DCAA, DCMA) and indirect rate development for our San Diego office. PLANNER/SCHEDULER Description- The Planner/Scheduler is a key member of the Program Management Team and is responsible for all aspects of planning and scheduling of ship repair projects for U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, and commercial vessels as contracts dictate. This position drives the development and maintenance of the systems and processes that support planning functions, provide data analysis, and produce production schedules. Requires the development and production of reports/analysis for the management team. SKILLS (Basic - required) - Advanced ability with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, MS Project, Word) - Working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) concepts/reports - Read blueprints/drawings - Planning, integrated schedule development and budgeting techniques - Knowledge of repair/overhaul process and procedures (NAVSEA Standard Items, etc.) - Computer applications related to production planning and control - Basic understanding of job cost accounting system Requirements Must have excellent all-around U.S. Navy ship knowledge with min 5 yrs exp in a role relating to shipboard operations and/or ship repair industry. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to relate well with shipyard trades and supporting departments.
