About the Role:
The role is responsible for ensuring that key finance teams are given full support around finance systems to enable them to fully meet all reporting objectives. The successful candidate for this role will also be responsible for the following;
- Working closely with various teams to understand both long and short term systems requirements
- Make recommendations to senior stakeholders to aid them in making informed systems decisions
- Documenting all issues and process changes as to the specifications of the business
- Developing and presenting business valuation propositions to various business units
- Educating the business on financial systems controls through various means
- Ensuring regular communication with all stakeholder groups is maintained
Key Skills and Requirements:
- A strong accounting background, ideally having previously worked within financial reporting, moving into more systems focussed roles
- An in depth working knowledge of large ERP's, such as HFM, Cognos, Peoplesoft, Oracle or TM1
- Experience within a business partnering role with a proven track record within change management and process improvement
- Tertiary education within business, accounting or technology - a relevant post graduate qualification would be preferred
- A financial services background would also be preferred
