Finance Systems Manager recruitment
The main responsibilities in brief will be:
- Oversee development, maintenance and administration of the Group's financial applications
- Ensure preparation, control and maintenance of financial systems documentation
- Initiate, develop and lead the Group's finance systems training programme leading users through upgrades, changes and new developments on finance systems
- Lead the interaction between Finance and Group Technology Service and 3rd party suppliers. Acting as lead negotiator for Finance's business interests.
The ideal candidates will be an expert in TM1, having used it in their current position, other key attributes:
- Delivery and results driven, committed to high standards of excellence. Pro-active and demonstrates initiative. Able to lead and motivate a team of individuals with a diverse range of skills and abilities through a change management process
- Open to and willingly adopts new processes / approaches / ways of working.
- Communication - Maintains excellent working relations with the business at all levels.
- Puts project management methodologies in place e.g. schedules of work; progress reports, etc. Deals with conflicts successfully.
- Analysis Problem Solving - Foresees forthcoming risks, escalates early and has plans for risk mitigation. Analyses issues to identify problems, utilises all available resources and tool sets to investigate and resolve problems, providing management with the most commercial and pragmatic solutions to those problems.
The essential requirements include:
- TM1 user in current role
- Experience with COGNOS BI
- Projects experience - lead/planned/influenced
- Qualified Accountant
- Group level exposure
- People Management
