Finance Technology PMO recruitment

Working within GBM Finance Control IT, the PMO will be responsible for supporting a consistent and effective approach to project programme management, workstream progress, financial management, MI, Governance and controls, processes.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the yearly GBM Finance IT budget, programme business cases and monitor the monthly financial reporting process (actuals + forecast, variance analysis, accruals, invoice tracking).

• Managing the project headcount based on agreed caps. Ensuring that the hiring plan is communicated and explained, and encapsulated in project forecasts;

• Ensure governance procedures are followed by all project managers, for example: .

• Manage the weekly reporting process by disseminating meeting packs to the required stakeholders and chairing the weekly project meetings.

• Manage offshore PMO resource.

• Coordinate the creation and presentation of Steering Committee (SC) and Working Group (WG) packs and meetings, including financial, programme status and other data across multiple groups and consolidate into centralised reporting, with appropriate narrative, in a suitable format for discussion with senior management.

• Maintain GBM IT Finance Change Sharepoint

• Communicate extensively across GBM Finance IT at Global, regional and local level to ensure project milestones and targets are met, and issues are resolved effectively.

• Provide administrative support to GBM IT Business Lead, FTP Project Managers and the Global Finance FTP Programme Manager

Candidates will need the following skills / experience

• Highly experienced in compiling budgets and tracking financial information in multiple formats to multiple stakeholders.

• Evidence of delivery in a similar role within a global organisation

• Strong knowledge and experience of project lifecycles within Investment Banking IT.

• Experienced in supporting large, global, functional Programmes.

• Excellent Excel skills and MS Office Skills

• Investment Banking/IT Background

• Use of Clarity for Timesheet reporting and Programme Status reporting.
