The Start Up will look to utilise the open source community, sometimes substituting our own solutions where greater performance is needed. The focus will revolve around some of the newest technologies in the market and looking for candidates with the mentality to own and become evangelistic in certain technologies.
Successful candidates must have a passion for Java Enterprise engineering, be highly motivated and accountable. At a minimum candidate must be fluent in:
• Server side multi-threaded Java / J2EE
• Spring
• Hibernate
• Messaging
• Agile Development practices
• SQL and Oracle
• Have some business exposure to Fixed Income, Derivatives and trade flows.
• Team Lead experience
• Big Data (Hadoop, etc.)
• HTML 5 and GWT (not essential)
