Finance Transactions Manager

This Finance Transactions Manager job in Edinburgh will appeal to a wide variety of candidates who enjoy Project Management. Finance Transaction services will be provided through a combination of 3rd party outsourcing agreements for Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset Purchasing and Colleague Expenses Processing and through a dedicated in-house solution (for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable services for parent group transactions). Outsourced services will be managed to ensure delivery in line with divisional requirements and to ensure fit with interlocking processes across divisional stakeholder groups (cost management, purchasing teams etc.). In house services must be delivered in a controlled and efficient manner, again in line with underlying divisional requirements.

While the lead role is not considered complex from a technical accounting perspective, the role is very broad and will cover the following wide range of disciplines:

Admin Processing Activities
Accounting Activity
Management of Finance Transactions TSA
Intranet / Interchange Management
Finance Transactions Strategy (5 year plan)
Finance Transactions Implementation (of the target Operating Model)
Ongoing Team Leadership and Development

In order to be successful you will be a qualified accountant with the following skill-set:
