Financial Accountant
What we are looking for:
- Insurance experience is essential.
- Previous Financial Accounting experience.
- Part/Qualified accountant, although QBE will be considered for the right individual.
- Excellent excel skills and strong interpersonally.
The role:
This role will be providing the key link and support with the syndicate accounting manager and Financial Controller. We are looking for a driven candidate who is looking to join a growing business based in the city, capable of moving into a role where you can be progress across the next 12-18months.
In the immediate term you will be assisting in a variety of ad-hoc duties including the preparation of Lloyd’s and overseas regulatory returns throughout the year in accordance with the timetable set by Lloyd’s /regulatory bodies. Identifying potential efficiencies and streamlining processes.
You will need to have previous financial accounting experience within an insurance business, however a background in any of the following GI, Lloyds, Reinsurance, Brokerage and Life insurance markets will be considered.
