Financial Accountant
A rare opportunity has arisen for a financial accountant within a luxury retail business based in Central London. The finance function is looking to recruit a newly qualified ACA candidate from a small to mid-tier accountancy practice, with experience with preparation of financial accounts. This role will take on responsibility for producing accurate reports for the senior stakeholders, offering exposure to wider business. The successful applicant will have access to accelerated career progression and the opportunity to move within the company.
THE ROLE:
- Build relationship with key senior stakeholders
- Production of statutory accounts under UKGAAP
- Ownership of group consolidation process
- Liaising with auditors
- Implementing and streamlining processes
- Supervising 1 junior staff member
- Provide financial support to management team
THE CANDIDATE:
- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
- Accountancy practice background
- Preparation of financial accounts under UKGAAP/IFRS
- Confident user of Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Good academic record
