Financial Accountant – 3 month contract recruitment
The Company
Our client, an alternative investment firm based in Dublin City Centre is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance function on a 3 month contract.
The Challenge
Working in a team of 9 people and reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Financial Accountant will have responsibility for;
- Preparing monthly General Ledgers for all Funds currently under management
- Preparing interim financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP
- Engaging in ad hoc finance tasks as requested
- Monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting
The Candidate
The successful candidate must be a newly qualified accountant with a Big 4 financial services audit background. Alternatively a candidate with an accountancy qualification and a background in financial reporting for hedge funds would also be considered.

The Compensation
Remuneration will be in line with market rate.
