Financial Accountant/ Analyst Job in 20551, District Of Columbia US
The Federal Reserve System, with more than $2 trillion in assets, is responsible for conducting monetary policy related to open market operations, operating a nationwide payment system, overseeing distribution of the nation’s currency, and providing banking services to commercial banks and the federal government. One of the Board’s primary missions is to oversee the policies and operations of the twelve Federal Reserve Banks.
If you have a minimum 5 yrs of solid accounting/audit experience in the financial services industry or Big 4, then we want to speak to you! Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, their CPA certification or a Masters in Accounting. Knowledge of accounting and reporting systems, GAAP and FASB rules, strong writing, communication and presentation skills a must, analytical and critical thinking skills. This position requires 25% travel or less. US citizenship is required for this opportunity at the Board.
