Financial Accountant (based in Australia) recruitment
A world renowned leading financial institution based in Sydney (CBD) is offering a fantastic opportunity to join their financial accounting team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
As a key member of the financial accounting team, you will have a strong focus on regulatory reporting and responsible for the following:
• Month end processing of regulatory reporting submission s to ARPA on behalf of locally based business units.
• Preparation of monthly finance packs including providing commentary
• Liaising with various internal stakeholders to ensure strict deadlines are met
• Maintenance of accounting records in accordance with regulatory requirements
• GL System mapping
• Other ad-hoc tasks to ensure the ongoing process improvement of reporting submissions
Key Requirements:
• Degree qualified in an Commerce/Finance/Accounting disciplines (but this does not preclude someone with more qualified experience from applying for the role)
• Experience within the financial services sector
• CA/CPA qualified (but this does not preclude someone with more qualified experience from applying for the role)
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, driven, and have a proactive approach.
