The responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close and any other financial reporting deadlines are met
- Maintain statutory financial accounts in accordance with accounting standards
- Prepare financial management reports
- Analysis of various accounts, and perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliation
- Assist in statutory accounts preparation, cash-flow management/treasury function and the budgeting and forecasting process
- Ensure the accounting matters are in compliance with internal control policies, local regulatory matters, GST and tax
- Liaising with the tax consultants and external auditors
To qualify you should have a degree in Accountancy with relevant commercial experience in financial accounting and external audit experience preferred. You should also be a meticulous and committed individual who enjoys working in a team-based environment and is keen on developing a long term career with the firm.
