Financial Accountant, Financial Institution recruitment
The Company
This successful and well known Financial Institution has experienced sustained growth through a difficult economic environment. Due to recent internal promotion an exciting, challenging and rewarding role as Financial Accountant is awaiting for a like-minded individual.
The Role
• Prepare month-end reporting and financial statements using IFRS accounting standards;
• Month end journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations;
• Payroll journals, accruals and reconciliations and management of AP function;
• Preparation of Returns
• Reporting on, with full commentary, of the PL and Balance sheet
• Assist with the budgeting and analysing process;
• Liaise with internal and external auditors; and
• Assist in other ad-hoc projects.
Your Profile
The successful candidate shall have an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance with professional accounting qualification. You will have minimum 3 years' accounting experience within a Financial Services environment, or Big 4 practice firms training (with banking audit only). You must have strong financial reporting experience of reporting under IFRS. You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English a must, ability to speak other languages is a plus.
