Financial Accountant for Property Company
My client is a leading property consultancy company operating globally but head quartered in London. They deliver excellence in all that they do, consulting on high profile projects whilst delivering exceptional customer service. They are continuing to win new clients and have a healthy pipeline of work and growth for the future. The finance function is well established and high calibre with a friendly, team work focussed culture. Due to an increase in work load they are looking to appoint a recently qualified accountant into the role of financial accountant. Initially this role will be offered on an interim basis but has the potential to be extended and their ideal situation is that the candidate would like to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.
The role takes responsibility for ensuring the financial and management accounts for a number of their businesses are delivered. This will also include VAT returns, Inter company and general ledger reconciliations, debtor management and overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. There will also be a more commercial aspect of the role with input into financial modelling.
My client is looking to appoint a newly qualified accountant into this role and will consider people from a chartered, certified or management accounting background. Team fit is really important to this company and the candidates must be happy to undertake a range of tasks and work well within the team. Strong excel skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly is important.
