Financial Accountant – Hedge Fund recruitment
A leading London based Hedge Fund have a permanent opportunity for a qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Financial Accountant with ideally 2 years post qualified in either an Investment Banking or Hedge Fund environment. The role requires an accountant with a strong technical skill set and a good understanding of IFRS, UK and US GAAP. The position would suit a candidate from Practice background whose clients may have included Investment Banks and Asset Management firms however candidates who have qualified through graduate and internal training schemes will most definitely be considered.
As Financial Accountant your responsibilities will include;
• Preparation of the annual statutory and consolidated accounts
• Preparation and analysis of balance sheets at each month end
• To provide the required finance input and analysis to support overseas tax, business development initiatives and major projects
• Responsibility for the integrity of account balances ensuring an appropriate framework of balance sheet analysis and reconciliation is operating effectively each month
• Preparation of board packs, including profit and loss, balance sheet and regulatory capital calculations
