Financial Accountant
For our international client in the region Zeeland we are looking for a Financial Accountant.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accounting of all Holding entities within the Europe group.
- In close cooperation with the treasury team also responsible for the accounting of all Intercompany loans, interests, various derivatives and preparing/ analyzing of FX recordings on a consolidated level.
- Establish standardized analysis and reporting processes and packages across the BU’s and functions, based upon financial and operational data and measurements aligned with our customer’s and Financial Shared Services leadership’s requirements
- Linking pin between tax, treasury accounting and other stakeholders.
- Period end financial closing activities, participation site / sales offices reviews. Reporting of consolidated reporting package to Global Consolidation and Reporting team.
- Highly frequent interaction with BU finance and operating teams, support functions leadership and financial shared services teams and Global finance team.
- Participate in projects to further improve transparency and quality of the financial and operational data in a complex systems environment.
Education and skills
- HBO Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- Interest in a global environment
- Fluent in verbal and written English and Dutch
- 2-4 years finance experience
- Oracle / SAP experience is a plus
- Good analytical skills
- Strong process improvement mindset: always looking for ideas to improve efficiency and integrity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive approach towards stakeholders
- Hands on mentality
- Team player
