Financial Accountant (M:f) Job in Luxembourg

The Responsibilities
•Timely and accurate maintenance of multiple general ledgers (finance and holding companies), including preparing and booking of journal entries
•Prepare monthly account reconciliations
•Assist Finance Manager on preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns and annual tax process
•Provide audit support to external auditors during quarterly and year end audits
•Prepare monthly bank account analysis and resolve reconciling items
•Special projects as required
The Competencies
•Accounting or business administration degree
•Good knowledge of accounting standards, preferably US GAAP (Lux GAAP or IFRS is a plus)
•Minimum 2-3 years experience in Finance
•Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP systems (Oracle Software)
•Ability to deal with foreign currency issues
•Analytic aptitude, team player with good communication skills, able to work to tight schedules with flexibility
•English and French fluently written and spoken
