Financial Accountant – project finance recruitment
The Bank is undergoing a divestment at present. The candidate will be looking at the Financial Accounting for Mortgages and will be helping to determine what the Bank will be keeping and what they will be divesting.
The role will involve the accountant splitting Statutory Accounts into various components and looking at the implications of this for the banking group - and furthermore figuring out what action to take based on the outcome.
Past experience of working with specific Financial Products will be of advantage for this job role.
The candidate must posses good experience of working with Balance Sheets and will need to be able to understand the PnL (PL) of the Balance Sheets
Substantial experience of Financial Accounting is a must.
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Journals
- Balance sheet reconciliation process
- Separation of balance sheet and inter-co’s
- Accounting impacts on the business
The client has specified the below skillset as a minimum candidate expectation:
• Qualified Accountant with at least two years post qualification experience,
• Experience of specialist accounting areas.
• Financial Services experience.
• High analytical skills
• Problem solving skills in new environments
