The Luxembourg office, the Head Office, is responsible for the financial management and consolidation ( multinational team).

Ideal Profile

University degree or graduate in accounting or finance ( ACCA Qualified or similar – minimum 2-3 years post qualification (degree) )

Highly competent working with complex numerical data.
Good at analysing numerical information. Likes to work in details.

Is comfortable dealing with new situations.Can quickly assess new information and apply new procedures, legislation requirements. Works comfortably with data extraction and producing reports in Excel.

Good communication skills. Is self confident dealing with people across different levels and is culturally sensitive to different approaches and needs throughout Europe.

Friendly open style and is able to work in a team and support others.

Precise and accurate. Works independently and as part of a team.

Fluent in both written and spoken English and German. French is a plus

Tasks and Responsibilities

Accounting from A to Z ( such as invoices, payments, accruals etc.)  Ensure they are compliant with company policies and procedures and then process accordingly.

Responsible for maintenance of Fixed Asset Register and preparation of  VAT returns

Maintenance of general ledger, including Debitors, Creditors and Cashbook and making adjustments as required through to final balance sheet and income statement

Inter-Company loans and Interest schedules with FX implications. Maintaining Internal Control Documentation

Monthly/ year end reporting and closing, preparation of FS under Lux Gaap and consolidation

Compilation of transfer pricing documentation and calculation of management fees
