What you'll do
We are looking for a pro-active, well-structured and motivated Financial Accountant to join our Finance team which handles the financial administration for Optiver Europe. As our new Financial Accountant you’ll be responsible for monitoring and processing our Accounts Payable. Next to that, you will not only prepare and review reconciliations and controls, but also assist in our financial reporting. You’ll maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external companies.
Tasks
As our new Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Accounts Payable;
- Monitoring the digital workflow of our Accounts Payable;
- Preparing and reviewing reconciliations and controls;
- Processing the fixed assets administration;
- Assisting in the monthly close of the financial administrations;
- Assisting in financial reporting;
- Managing relationships with internal departments and external companies.
What you’ll need
- A bachelor degree, preferably in Economics;
- Around 0-2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a financial institution;
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel, preferably also Exact;
- Great communication and writing skills in both Dutch and English;
- A numerical and analytical mind;
- A high level of attention to detail and a structured way of working.
