FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT recruitment
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and review of month end GAAP and IFRS accounting processes
- Prepare account reconciliations and other relevant schedules
- Assist with the overall maintenance of the Company's accounting records
- Perform backup for regulatory computations: Capital, 15c3-3 and Futures Seg
- Assist with payouts, rebates and exchange fee reconciliations
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for management as necessary
- Handle special projects relating to the Accounting/Finance Department
Requirements
- Detail oriented and able to work both in a team setting and independently
- Must be reliable and self motivated
- Must be able to work in fast-paced, growth environment
- Minimum of 5 years experience in financial services industry with focus on accounting and financial reporting
- Experience in the stock brokerage industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Microsoft Dynamics GP experience a plus
