Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Responsible for accounts receivable and payables
- Helping in completing month end close of the accounts, calculation of accrued income and costs
- Review monthly accounts – clearing of accounts
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Debt collection
- Ensure that all activities are undertaken in line with BSI protocols and quality procedures.
- Other responsibilities as specified from time to time.
Key Performance Indicators
- Meet all reporting deadlines
- Support the Regional Finance Manager to accurately present the performance of BSI Germany, with full explanation of variances to forecast and budget
- Support the Regional Finance Manager to successfully manage the annual budget and interim forecast processes
- Maintain financial control under leadership of the Regional Finance Manager
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Accounting qualifications
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Able to multi-task within a fast paced work environment
- Able to work under their own initiative as well as under direction
- German to mother tongue level
- Fluent English language skills; both written and verbal. Other European language(s) an advantage
- Post-qualification experience in commercial environment
- Good IT skills, especially SAP, Excel and database
