This role focuses on the preparation of European VAT returns. Your key duties include:
- Responsibility for the submission of VAT returns.
- Positing VAT related journal entries.
- Preparing monthly VAT account reconciliations and VAT related corporate reporting deliverables.
- Providing a point of contact for VAT queries.
- Ensuring SOX compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An ACCA/ CIMA part-qualification and/ or ATT qualification.
- Some relevant financial accounting experience.
- Experience with accounting software packages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
