Financial Accountants – 6 Month Contract – Financial Services recruitment
Overview:
Preparation and review of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP and UK SORP to agreed deadlines for Hedge Funds under administration.
The Role:
- Preparation and review of annual financial statements for funds.
- Analyse the financial statements and prepare for audit.
- Contact with all stakeholders to the preparation process including clients, auditors and internal stakeholders.
Skills Experience
- At least 1 years experience in the preparation of financial statements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Good organisational skills with a proven ability to manage a work load.
- Attention to detail and accuracy essential.
- Knowledge of financial instruments and their accounting treatment.
- An accountancy qualification or finalist essential.
- A high level of integrity, a commitment to service excellence and ability to take ownership of tasks
