This Big four firm is a market leader with an enviable class leading client base. The firm is now investing in further growth, and is looking to appoint experienced Managers and Senior Managers for their office in Edinburgh.The team specialises in IFRS conversion support, implementation of new accounting standards, accounting experience during financial due diligence, accounting control or process support and assistance with public offerings.
In the UK there is a dedicated team focussing on Financial Services clients, split into five sub-teams: Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, Treasury Remediation.
They are interested in hearing from people who have excellent technical expertise and are perhaps looking for a move out of industry to practice.
Opportunities will allow you to have the chance to apply your technical knowledge in the advisory space, work on a variety of project work as well as offer you greater flexibility and excellent career progression opportunities.
This is a growing market area, evidenced by the large number of accounting change and conversion engagements won with the wide range of FS clients.
They are currently recruiting for experienced Managers across all five teams, who can help support ambitious growth plans and drive forward the team in a variety of activities. Who we're looking for
FS Financial Accounting Advisory Services Managers, Big 4 firm,
• Accountancy qualification
• Experience of IFRS, UK GAAP or US GAAP ideally gained within the insurance sector
• Assertive and proactive approach to the delivery/implementation of projects
• Ability to network effectively within large organisations and build relationships with individuals and clients
• Strong interpersonal skills: written, presentation and influencing
