Financial Accounting & Advisory Services Treasury Manager recruitment

As the only major professional services firm with an integrated practice across EMEIA, we're looking for talented assurance professionals.

The Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team specialises in advising clients on the practical implementation of new accounting and regulatory standards. The team is lead by partners, directors and senior managers who are recognised internally and externally as experts and are engaged in helping our major financial services and corporate clients to address the significant technical and practical challenges presented by IFRS and other accounting and regulatory developments. The team works closely with the firm's Financial Reporting Group, who produce the authoritative publication International GAAP.

We also support corporate and financial institutions on the existing IAS39 hedge accounting rules, and IAS39 more generally for their treasury operations. We work with channel 1 (audit) and channel 2 (non-audit) clients alike.

Your responsibilities as a Financial Accounting Advisory Services Treasury Manager will include:

- Leading our contribution to the development and debate surrounding IFRS and other accounting developments, focusing on the practical impact on clients

- Assisting clients through the provision of advice, the delivery of implementation projects, investigation and resolution of technical accounting issues

- Conducting analyses on accounting policies applied in financial statements to support due diligence teams

- Working with a variety of clients, providing practical solutions for complex accounting problems.

Qualifications/skills you'll need as a Financial Accounting Advisory Services Treasury Manager:

- ACA, CA or ACCA qualification

- CFA charterholder experience

- IFRS (specifically IAS39)

- Hedge Accounting

- Treasury - strategy, policy, procedures and controls.
