Financial Accounting Analyst - £30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Benefits Gloucester, South West
A leading Financial Services Institution is currently seeking a qualified/part-qualified accountant for their Finance function. This is a unique opportunity to establish and develop your skills and career at a company with a nationwide presence and an entrepreneurial, fresh approach to their industry.
You will be supporting the Financial Accounting Manager with the reporting of financial results on a management and statutory accounting basis.
Key responsibilities include
- Develop and maintain positive working relationship with senior stakeholders across the business
- Ensure reporting of the monthly management results are on a timely and accurate basis
- Ensure statutory results are reported in accordance with IFRS
- Assist the preparation of commentary and analysis and responding to adhoc queries
- Engage with external/internal auditors and Financial Control as appropriate
The ideal candidate will be a Finalist or Qualified Accountant with a consistent record of strong academic achievement. You will need to be able to confidently interact with senior management across the business. Strong IT skills and advanced Excel are required. The successful candidate will demonstrate the drive, ambition and analytical ability to make a positive impact on the business.
