Financial Accounting Manager recruitment
A global multiline insurer and international financial services group is looking for a Financial Accounting Manager to be responsible of all aspects of financial reporting for the group. This is an exciting opportunity with a wide range of responsibilities on offer:
· IFRS and Embedded Value basis financial statements and US filings;
· The Group Section of the Business Review section of results announcements
· Being the key source of the Group's external financial accounting technical expertise;
· Development of financial reporting aspects of the Solvency II programme
· Development of the Group's external financial reporting for new accounting requirements, Group initiatives for investor communications, changes in group structure and business unit activities ;
· Providing accounting advice on intra group and external transactions;
· Delivery of the Group IFRS financial statements and business review by acting as a key conduit between the consolidation and the other teams in Group Finance with the Financial Accounting team management.
Past experience has shown that the most successful candidate in this role will have a formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA) or equivalent. You should have demonstrated strong technical reporting knowledge, within practice or an insurance institution. A strong academic and analytical background will undoubtedly put you in strong contention here also, as will strong systems skills.
