Financial Administrator / Data Analyst in Reading.  Our client sells and services some of the most prestigious vehicle brands in the world and an interesting opportunity has arisen for Financial Administrator / Data Analyst in Reading.

THE ROLE
As Petrol and Diesel fuel represent a significant cost to the business and with the continuing trend of fuel price increases, our client is looking to appoint a Financial Administrator / Data Analyst to pro-actively monitor, manage and optimise their fuel spend.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Co-ordinate the issue of fuel cards to users / departments including the order, amendment and cancellation of fuel cards with the group supplier.
* Update and amend site fuel card accounts details with the group supplier including the transfer of staff between sites.
* Analyse and produce management reports on fuel spend by site, department and user.
* Compare year on year figures by site, report on savings, identify savings opportunities.
* Review fuel purchase patterns and supplier exception reports to identify purchases that are not compliant with the company fuel policy.
* Analyse data and produce reports on price per litre and pence per mile, identifying trends, high / low cost users.
* Analyse, audit and produce reports on business and private mileage declarations.

THE PERSON
The role of Financial Administrator / Data Analyst would suit individuals who enjoy analysing financial data and the person appointed will have / be:
* A minimum of 2 years experience working in financial administration.
* Able to accurately collate, analyse and interrogate financial data
* Advanced Excel using spreadsheet tools including pivot tables and look-ups
* Influence and manage relationships with internal customers and external suppliers
* Effective interpersonal skills
* Experience of dealing with staff at different levels within an organisation would be advantageous.
* Good attention to detail
* be flexible and possess a GSoH
* be able to comply with all company and manufacturer’s disciplines and procedures
