Financial Advisor (M/F) recruitment
La Banque Internationale à Luxembourg is the oldest bank of Luxembourg financial centre. Founded in 1856, it was a part of Dexia group until its recent reorganisation.
Important investments confirm la BIL as a centre of reference for the International Wealth Management, with two centres of expertise, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
Your main responsibilities and tasks:
- Pro-active follow up as well as interpretation of evolution of financial markets and financial instruments.
- Management of the advisory private portfolio mandates through bonds, funds and individual lines coherent/in line with the Private Banking Investment Strategy and internal risk constraints.
- Contribution to the definition of the PB Investment Strategy in terms of asset allocation, regional allocation, sector allocation, fund selection and stock picking.
- Monitoring and control of the execution of the orders, risk parameters as well as performances of the different private client mandates.
- Provide high quality investment support towards client advisors, clients.
Your profile and qualifications:
- Bachelor / Master Degree in finance, business administration or economics.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in portfolio management, financial analysis and/or commercial function.
- CFA or CAIA designation preferred or willingness to obtain it.
- Good knowledge of financial instruments and financial markets.
- Alternative Investment experience is a necessary and a distinctive plus.
- Language knowledge: Luxembourgish and German, both orally and in writing. Other languages (French, English) are a plus and a distinctive advantage.
- Knowledge of Excel, Access, SQL, VBA, SAS, Bloomberg, Reuters, Lipper, etc.
