Financial Aid Systems Admin Manager Req #: 19083BR Division: Kaplan University State: Florida City: Fort Lauderdale FT/PT: Full-Time Job Description Position Summary The System Administration manager is responsible for the oversight of all systems, including CampusVue, Orion, Central Processing System (CPS), NSLDS and other systems that may be utilized within the financial aid division. Key Job Responsibilities Manages the implementation of yearly updates provided by the Dept of Education. Manages the yearly updates to CampusVue and Orion to ensure the accurate packing of financial aid. These include but are not limited to: budget components, Pell tables, tuition rates, etc. Coordinate with Financial Aid management to ensure the system(s) facilitate the accurate processing of financial aid. Coordinate with KHE Application support and Campus Management teams to test, resolve and implement new CampusVue versions. Proactive identify process improvement enhancements to more efficiently serve the growing needs of the University. Facilitate individuals and/or teams using the aforementioned methodologies focused on specific departemental issues. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) -OR- two years of experience for every year of formal education required. - 3 - 5 years related experience. - Microsoft Excel, Access, Minitab, Visio, Project, Word and PowerPoint. - CampusVue knowledge. - Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, with an appreciation for the chain of command, so as to convey meaningful, timely, and actionable information. - Ability to develop workflows to facilitate timely and compliant delivery of financial aid by the Financial Aid division. - Strong logical thinking skills and analytical approach. - Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Ability to meet deadlines with desired results. - Ability to document decisions made and actions performed. - A demonstrated ability to be a creative problem solver. - Ability to influence other professionals so as to meet performance targets. Preferred Qualifications - Advanced knowledge of Title IV regulations - Advanced knowledge of software system management; CampusVue. - Greenbelt Certification.
