Financial Analysis Manager – Assistant Vice President recruitment
The Clearance business, which is part of the Worldwide Securities Services business unit within J.P. Morgan's Treasury Security Services division, consists of three distinct product groups and generates more than $200 million in annual revenue. Responsibilities include
- Provide key support to the Clearance Product Team
- Provide reliable and accurate financial reporting that meets/exceeds internal/external standards for accuracy and compliance and facilitates decision making
- Collaborate with business partners in building plans and associated budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Partner with stakeholders in Billing, Ops, Liquidity Financial Controllers to ensure the integrity of financial processes and that appropriate controls are in place
- Ensure that financial data is available in a timely manner for input on any economic decision, and continuously enhance business management by developing creative ways to measure and analyze costs and key drivers
- Participate in the delivery of key information, including the preparation of presentation materials
- Conduct regular and ad hoc analysis on current trends, profitability, investment initiatives, and competitive landscape at both a product and market level

Qualifications/skills required
The work in the Clearance Finance group is fast-paced, demanding, and intellectually stimulating. We look for candidates with strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills. You should also be adaptable, able to manage projects independently, and ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a productive member of a team. In addition, qualifications for this role include:
- Substantial financial analysis/management reporting experience is essential, preferably gained from employment in the financial services sector.
- A professional accounting qualification - either ACA/ACCA/CIMA - with PQE experience essential
- Advanced Excel skills essential; knowledge and experience of Hyperion Essbase preferred
- Ability to work effectively across a large organization and execute projects, as well as build and manage cross-functional relationships
- Hardworking, with strong teamwork and verbal/communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas simply
- Structured time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects at one time
