Financial Analyst – Technology & Processing Services Division (TPS) recruitment

Visa Europe has an opportunity in their Management Information team within the Finance division for a Financial Analyst. The purpose of the role is:

• To assist the TPS Finance Director Senior Financial Analyst, to provide relevant, accurate and timely management information to the Cost Centre Managers and Senior Leadership Team.

• To use financial expertise to model and formulate divisional financials, to advise and support decision making through the month end, forecast, budget and planning cycles.

• Produce relevant reporting and analysis to support partnered divisions’ decision making.

The role will involve liaising with cost centre managers, maintaining the forecasts, budgets and reporting on actual results across TPS.

Key Accountabilities:

This role reports into the Senior Financial Analyst and will have the following responsibilities:

• Management Reporting: Analyse, review, report and advise divisional and cost centre revenue and expenses to explain financial movements / trends / drivers to the divisional partners.

• Accuracy: Liaise with cost centre managers to reflect accrual accounting, in order to ensure results are correctly reflected in the books and records.

• Planning: Assist / evaluate and challenge Forecasts/ Budgets / 3 Year Plan to enable the Business Partners to plan business on a short / medium and long term basis.

• Ad hoc projects: Assist, develop, review and advise any form of management information (financial and non-financial) in order to assist the TPS FD to evaluate a specific business opportunity / risk.

Essential Criteria:

• CIMA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification held (or finalist)

• Knowledge of Oracle is desirable

• Educated to degree level or equivalent

• Experience within a Customer focused commercial environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Ability to interrogate data and ask probing questions to determine information

• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint ability

• Self motivated
