Financial Analyst
Financial Analyst – 6 month contract – Belfast – New Accountancy Job – NI Top 100 –
£35,000 - £40,000 (Pro-rata)
Hays is delighted to be working with a market-leading NI Top 100 business to recruit an experienced financial analyst to their finance team based in Belfast. This job is due to last for 6 months initially as part of an internal project, but there is potential of more long-term prospects. The successful candidate will begin their new job as soon as possible, however the client will wait for the right match. Salary for this role is dependent on the candidate but will be in the region of £35,000 - £40,000 (pro-rata).
Working within a demanding and dynamic finance team, the incumbent will be tasked with extensive financial modelling, scenario planning and bid-modelling primarily through MS Excel. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for analysis of contract bids, be part of the bid process and the financial aftercare of new contracts won. Alongside this the candidate will also be required to present financial reports, analysis of financial performance and ad hoc finance tasks as required.
Criteria:
§ Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
§ Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience
§ Significant experience in successfully undertaking the above duties
§ Experience working within a fast-paced and demanding finance team
§ Advanced MS Excel (Essential)
§ SAP knowledge (Desirable)
