Financial Analyst
An exceptional opportunity has arisen with a Tier 1 Investment Bank, or a newly qualified ACA or CIMA of the highest calibre.
This is a Financial Analyst role that sits closely with the Banks Front Office and Product Control teams. The EMEA Financial Products finance team supports the business providing Stock Lending, Equity Swaps, Structured Financing and trading services to Hedge Funds and Sovereign Wealth Funds.
The team is involved in Value added Business support, modelling, scenario analysis, and balance sheet and cash flow reporting. The unique set up of the Products team means this role takes a step away from the traditional daily and monthly PL and Balance Sheet production. This creates a varied role where you get directly involved in reserve reporting, price testing, quarterly disclosure reporting, and management of the trading desk through meetings with traders, risk groups and other support areas. This is an Associate level role that encourages you to contribute to the wider team and departmental initiatives.

To be considered, you will be an ACA qualified Accountant trained with the Big 4 or a Top 20 firm. You DO NOT need to have a Banking Capital Markets Background – but MUST demonstrate a real desire to working Banking.
CIMA candidates that are first time passes may be considered. You will have the ability to challenge and influence team members, deliver results, and continuously look for better and new ways working. A strategic approach to finance and how you can influence the business to grow is essential.
