- Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems: Microsoft Office Products, (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); SAP and Hyperion Essbase is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, able to understand complex data and issues with demonstrated ability to think outside the box.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience (preferably in a large corporate or manufacturing organization).
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or other business field is required; CPA and/or an MBA or advanced degree is desirable.
- Partner with Business / Operations teams to provide excellent customer service. This will be achieved with timely, accurate and insightful financial information to support the decision making process. Prepare ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the development of and maintain tools and processes for the consolidation and analysis of monthly forecasting, annual operating plans and monthly reviews that would include: o Manufacturing variances / PL reporting o Volume / Price / Mix analysis (Sales / Raw Materials) o Coordinate channel pricing / margin process o Fixed cost absorption calculations o Annual standards re-cast process o Review monthly results and forecasts with business teams o Support the SOP process o Prepare monthly financial statements and support the monthly MOR o Detailed preparation, analysis, and reporting of monthly forecasts and annual operating plans for both the Commercial Retread and Mileage business segment o Provide client assistance to external and internal audit o Assist in monthly forecasting of rebate accruals o Provide monthly reporting and analysis for SAG o Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as requested to support business decisions
- Drive common systems / processes for operational efficiency and data integrity.
- Partner with PBU / NAT Manufacturing to support the ongoing focus on cost structure and working capital initiatives. Assist in the development of return on investment models and data driving processes.
- Ensure the understanding of financial analysis, reporting assumptions throughout the PBU / NAT Manufacturing organizations
