Financial Analyst: Cost Transformation Programme

My client is a rapid growth £1bn turnover privately held business based in the city. They are going through a large strategic transformation programme to drive business efficiency and as part of this are looking to appoint a financial / business analyst to support a cost rationalisation programme.  

This role will initially be offered on an interim basis (probably for about 6 months) but with a view to it being extended further as this is an on going programme of work.  The role will focus on extrapolating data from a variety of sources, amalgamating this, manipulating this to identify trends and useful analysis and reporting on findings to the project teams.  This will have a wide range of impact around the business and could be driving down costs around anything from software licences to outsourced processes.   

To be considered for this role you need to have a strong finance / analytical skills.  You will have advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large volumes of data.  Applicants must have strong commercial understanding and be able to relay analysis across to the wider business effectively.
